Devon Inman
Devon has been immersed in accounting and small business finance since his teenage years, when he first started selling baseball cards through online auctions and eventually managing the books for his family’s business. That early experience sparked a lifelong commitment to helping others understand and master their finances.
In 2008 Devon earned a degree in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina.
He moved to Iowa City in 2015 and after serving as Executive Director of Elder Services, Inc., transitioned to being a financial advisor and was named one of the Corridor Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2018, he earned his Chartered Financial Consultant®, and CFP® designations in 2019 and 2021 respectively, and became an Enrolled Agent in 2023. He is an avid supporter of the Start-Up Community and made his first investment as an Accredited Investor in 2022, he has participated in syndicates, SAFEs, and direct purchases of start-ups since then. His experience and education allow him to bring a well-rounded perspective to every engagement.
Whether working with individuals, families, business owners, or start-up investors his goal is simple: create the lowest friction, highest satisfaction, client experience possible.
